A drug delivery system that consists of a microscopic device moving within your body, capable of simultaneously sensing, communicating, and processing that information to release the optimum drug dose when and where it’s needed.
A nanorobot must consist of biocompatible materials and transient electronics in order to be “invisible” to the body’s immune system and dissolvable when it is no longer needed. Certain polymers and metal oxides could be used for the construction of a nanorobot.
